A one-stop guide for T-Mobile G1 Android phone running the Google operating system. Android has an open source project, specifically designed to make it easier for developers to create professional and amateur for their own applications, 's access to any part of the phone hardware.
Interim Update (February 5)

This update seems to bemore or less as above, adding the ability to store images and files with a long press, fixing some minor bugs (no, I personally experienced, but have to worry about other people), and the addition of Voice Search (which seems rather cool). This is a set of customers in the U.S. come, but there is much more related to information about them, probably because it is fairly easy. It seems there is some concern about the voice search will be available in the UK - apparentlyHas a problem with our accent! This may delay or alter the UK version.

Coming Update - Cupcake
This is a big correction, or a series of updates coming in the first quarter of 2009 for the G1 Android phones, and others. Comes from the development branch called Cupcake, and will include a number of bug fixes and improvements, and add a lot of features for your phone. The official position of Google is yet to be ready when it's finished, but is planned for 2009 in the first quarter. TheSoft keyboard is one of the most anticipated features of Cupcake - the ability to enter text on a screen, keyboard, without opening the film on the G1. This function is now provided by a third party application - dotphone.org 's Softkeyboard available on the market today. Features: what works, what does not, and how to fixit
Headsets
Bluetooth headsets seem to work well together, but the device still does not support stereo Bluetooth, and all audio is only mono. This will be fixed with the update Cupcake.
The wired headset that the G1 offers a sound quality is good, but the limitation is that the phone does not have a regular headset / headphone jack, wired for accessories you need those that are specifically designed for ' purchasecompatible with the phone.
But in the U.S., the G1 now with an adapter to allow a regular 3.5 mm headphone jack. File Transfer
Still disappointing, Android does not support file transfers between your phone and computer via Bluetooth. This should be included with the update Cupcake in mid January. Since this function is really missingthe basic structure of the operating system, it is almost impossible for someone else to do (through a downloaded application, for instance, add), until the upgrade.
File transfer using the USB cable works fine, but the method of Quick Start Guide that comes with the phone that some people (including me) is confused, has changed. If the USB cable in a prompt appears on the G1 in the notification area (in the drop-down menu at the top of the screen) says: "USBConnected - Choosing to / from your PC to copy files "a.
